We have various options available for meetings and events. For this, you can contact the park management directly.

Yes, but only a limited number of houses are designated for pets, and we allow a maximum of two dogs. A surcharge for pets will be applied and shown when you make your booking. You must indicate during the booking process if you plan to bring a pet. While at the park, all dogs must be kept on a leash. Special house rules for pets will be provided to you upon arrival.

Every villa is equipped with a stone barbecue, which is made available to you free of charge.

To check the official school holidays, please refer to the National Government website for the dates relevant to your region. Always confirm the dates with your specific school or educational institution, as some dates are only advisories, and schools may choose to deviate from them.

All found items are collected at the reception.

Please pay close attention at gas stations: E85 is a type of fuel containing 85% bio-ethanol. This fuel costs less than half the price of regular gasoline, but it is harmful to your engine if it has not been modified for the use of this fuel.

Booking and reservations

You can pay directly online during the booking process.

Yes, once you complete the online process, the booking is final.

Yes, it is possible to reserve neighboring accommodations, subject to availability. Please contact us directly to make this type of reservation.

The reservation you made is final. For any changes - such as the period of your stay or adding items like towels or children's furniture- you must contact us. Please note that modification fees may apply in some cases.

No, the full payment is due prior to arrival. You must pay directly online when making your booking.

Yes, a deposit of 40% of the total amount is required within 3 days of the booking date.

Note: For special promotions or offers, (for example Super Last Minute bookings), the entire amount is due at once and in full.

Yes, you will receive an email confirmation after your payment is processed.

In principle, no. However, please contact us to discuss your specific circumstances.

The 40% deposit is due within 3 days of the booking date. The final payment (60% of the total amount) is due 6 weeks before your arrival.

Our terminals are not equipped to accept American Express cards. You can, however, use your VISA or Mastercard.

We are not affiliated with the ANVC, so you cannot use your holiday vouchers to pay here.

Deposit & fees

You can find a complete overview of all mandatory additional costs in the booking steps while booking your villa.

The deposit is paid at the reception at the moment of check-in. Our preferred method is a credit card pre-authorization upon check-in. This simply blocks the required amount on your card and no money is actually charged. The hold is automatically released after check-out, provided there is no damage. If you do not have a credit card, you can pay the deposit with a debit card or in cash. In this case, the deposit will be refunded to your bank account via transfer after check-out.

Yes, the park requires a security deposit upon arrival. The deposit is paid at the reception at the moment of check-in. Our preferred method is a credit card pre-authorization upon check-in. If you do not have a credit card, you can pay the deposit with a debit card or in cash. The specific amount depends on the exact villa type.

The security deposit will be released or refunded to your account shortly after check-out, provided the property is left clean and undamaged and in adherence with our guidelines. In the event of any damage, breakage, or excessive cleaning required, a portion of the deposit will be retained to cover these costs.

Cancellation & insurance

Please email us at info@residencechateaudesalles.com to cancel your reservation and state the reason for cancellation. We will then review your case to determine if you are eligible for a partial refund. For full details, please refer to the General Terms and Conditions, which include our cancellation policy.

We do not currently offer cancellation insurance through our site. You are always welcome to purchase cancellation insurance independently from an external provider.

Costs and premiums vary by provider. You can search online for "cancellation insurance" to compare options and purchase a policy.

Arrival and departure

Every day of the week with the exception of Sunday in the months of July and August.


We expect you to check in between 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM. If you anticipate arriving outside of these hours, please notify us in advance. Check-out time is between 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM.

Yes, you may use the facilities. Please ensure you register at the reception immediately upon your arrival.

Outside of reception opening hours, you can deposit your key and check-out form in the designated mailbox located at the main exit.

Accommodations

Each villa is privately owned and individually furnished. While the overall standard, amenities, and quality are consistent throughout the residence, interior layouts, décor, and furniture may differ. Photos on the website are examples and may not reflect the exact villa assigned.

The maximum occupancy is clearly stated in the property description and corresponds to the number of available beds. This number is strictly enforced due to safety regulations, and no extra beds, cots, or air mattresses are permitted.
Note: Children up to and including 2 years old are permitted as an extra person, provided they sleep in a travel cot.

You can request a specific preference when making your reservation. We will do our best to accommodate your request but cannot guarantee that you will receive it.

Most houses feature tiled floors. Furthermore, smoking is prohibited in the villas. We also have villas where pets are not allowed. If you require an accommodation with these features, please indicate this when booking.

We do not have houses specifically designed for disabled guests. However, we do have units that are ground-level with minimal to no thresholds. Please indicate your needs when booking.

All our houses are non-smoking. We rely on the cooperation of our guests to observe this rule.

Yes, the use of bed linen is mandatory. The cost is listed in the booking steps. You can also request to replace your linen during your stay.

These items are not standard but can be ordered during your booking, afterward, or during your stay and picked up at reception.

Yes, all houses of the same type maintain the same standard level of equipment and facilities.

Final cleaning fee is mandatory, even if you clean the accommodation yourself.

Facilities

Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the park.

There are 3 supermarkets located in Salles, a few minutes' drive from the park.

Yes, we offer a bakery service that provides fresh, local bread every morning during mid and high season.

Yes, our parks feature both swimming pools and a tennis court. Please check the 'Park Facilities' section for details

Designated parking spaces are available close to each villa. While they may not be located directly beside the accommodation, they are within a short walking distance and organized per villa area or street.

The park has various facilities (listed under the "Facilities" section on the website). Only registered guests are permitted to use these facilities.

The pool is cleaned daily, and there is an automatic chlorine dosing system to keep the pH levels within the correct limits. Water samples are taken monthly by the French authorities.

Every villa is furnished differently and is always equipped with a filter machine and another type of coffee machine (pads, capsules, or beans). The reception can provide you with further information.

You can rent special pool towels at the reception.


Children

You can rent items like high chairs and baby beds (cots). The available options and their prices will be shown when you begin your booking.

Note: Children up to 2 years old may sleep in a rented cot. Children aged 3 and older must sleep in a standard bed.

Yes, an entertainment team is present during the high season. Please check the Kids Club page for the exact dates and times.

Discounts and offers

The discount will be automatically calculated when you start or complete your booking process.

We send the newsletter several times a month, but it may take a little while before you receive your first one. If you still haven't received anything after a reasonable amount of time, there might be a system error. Please contact us if this happens.

Investing in a holiday home

A limited number of villas are occasionally available for purchase as holiday homes. For the latest information and availability, we invite you to contact us by email.

Surroundings

Your best option is to drive to the P+R Alouette in Pessac and take the tram from there to the center of Bordeaux.

You will find the nearest garage as you leave Salles in the direction of Mios.

You can obtain further information at the reception and at the Tourist Office in Salles.

You will find a wide range of vegetarian restaurants in Bordeaux. Additionally, most local restaurants also serve vegetarian dishes.

You can reserve a canoe in Salles for the trip down the river to Mios.

EV Charging

Near the reception area there are 4 chargers of 22kW to charge e-cars.


The cost is €0.50 per kWh.

All regular cards are accepted, and if necessary, you can obtain a card at the reception.
